NAME Silica
ORIGIN In its natural state, crystalline silica (and in particular quartz) is present in many rocks (sandstone, granite, sand...), but it is also found in certain plants such as nettle, horsetail, shallot, garlic... but the one that contains the most is undoubtedly the bamboo.
INCI Silica

Naturally present, silica is used in toothpastes as an abrasive agent. This attribute allows us to remove the materials present on the surface of the body, to clean the teeth and to improve their shine. Silica also has opacifying properties, reducing the transparency of the product in which it is found. As a viscosity control agent, it increases or decreases the syrupiness of the product in which it is incorporated. Authorized in organic farming, silica is present in our first toothpaste.
