Why choosing a bamboo toothbrush?

We are proud to present our new First Teeth Kit. An eco-friendly alternative to gradually reduce our consumption of plastic in everyday items.

In order to minimize our impact on the environment, we can all change our habits through simple everyday actions. Our mass consumption habits push us to buy products that are mostly packaged in plastic.

We can no longer ignore the devastation caused by plastic in our oceans. The findings and images are staggering, with more than 600,000 km² of floating waste. We have all seen images of vast patches of waste weighing several million tons floating in the Pacific. The problem with toothbrushes is that they are made of several types of plastic, making them impossible to recycle. What's more, they take between 100 and 1,000 years to decompose in nature! Like cotton buds, they are one of the most polluting everyday items, despite often going unnoticed.
Being concerned about the amount of plastic in the oceans is not just about worrying about the dramatic ecological impact on underwater flora and fauna, it is also about worrying about water quality in general, even the water that comes out of our taps...
